D-Mannose is a substance found in relatively small amounts in fruits such as pineapples, oranges, apples, and cranberries, but also in corn and in the wood of trees like the larch or birch. Cranberry, in particular, is often consumed as juice or as a dietary supplement. The effect of cranberry is mainly due to its D-Mannose content. However, cranberry extract contains only a small amount of D-Mannose. Nutrivian's D-Mannose contains a remarkable 500 mg of pure D-Mannose, making it many times stronger than cranberry capsules.
