Good for the mood
Great product, 500 mg per tablet and a total of 100 tablets. In comparison, it offers a much better price/quality ratio than the Ortholon product that goes by the name Maca Forte, which contains only 250 mg per tablet, meaning you need to take 2 tablets at a time and it only has 60 tablets per container. Do the math and see your savings.

On 02 march 2015 by Customer serviceInability to sleep is an uncommon reaction to maca. This is because maca does not have stimulating properties like coffee does. Typically, you could consume maca in the middle of the night without it adversely affecting your sleep.
It is possible that your nausea and insomnia were a reaction to the product, but it could also have been a coincidence, or that the symptoms had another cause.
A 500 mg capsule contains a relatively low amount of maca. The crop has traditionally been consumed as a root vegetable in much larger quantities than 500 mg. Although stomach issues can arise in relation to the difficult-to-digest fibres, this is generally not the case with low dosages, such as in capsules and tablets.
