Mattisson Multi Magnesium capsules are a blend of 5 different forms of magnesium: Magnesium Citrate, Malate, Taurate, Bisglycinate, and Aquamin® Magnesium. This product contains 200 mg of elemental magnesium, which is 54% of the RDA, per dosage of two capsules.

Magnesium is a mineral necessary for many processes in the body. Rich sources of magnesium include cocoa, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dates, prunes, and avocado.
Organically Bound Forms of Magnesium
The magnesium variants in this product are organically bound forms of magnesium, which due to their high bioavailability, are absorbed more easily than inorganically bound forms of magnesium. Our daily diet generally contains mainly inorganically bound magnesium, as these are the forms found in the soil and absorbed by the plants we eat.
What is Magnesium Citrate?
Magnesium citrate is a compound of magnesium and the citrate (citric acid salt).
What is Magnesium Malate?
Magnesium malate is a binding of the mineral magnesium to organic malic acid. Malic acid can be used in the citric acid cycle, which contributes to the formation of ATP (energy). Magnesium malate is well absorbed.

Magnesium bisglycinate is bound to the amino acid l-glycine.

Magnesium taurate is a compound of magnesium with the amino acid taurine.
What is Aquamin® Magnesium?
Aquamin® magnesium is a multi-mineral complex that is well absorbed by the body. Aquamin® magnesium is derived from the clean, mineral-rich seawater off the Irish coast, and is therefore also called marine magnesium. Marine or sea magnesium contains magnesium hydroxide.
