What is Probisson®?
Probisson® is a supplement containing live micro-organisms, usually bacteria or yeasts, which occur naturally in our bodies and can also be found in certain foods and supplements. They are often associated with fermented products such as yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut and kimchi.

There are different types of bacterial species, such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, which occur in various foods and supplements. The composition of these products may vary, depending on the specific bacterial strains.

Probisson® is often combined with prebiotics, a type of fibre that serves as a food source for these micro-organisms. Together, they are called synbiotics. In the gut flora, the different types of bacteria are in balance.

These freeze-dried Probisson® capsules consist of 6 different strains and contain 7 billion CFU* per capsule. *CFU: Colony Forming Units.

This unique broad-spectrum microbiome strain blend has been specially developed for pregnant women and contains the strains Bifidobacterium infantis, lactis, bifidus, breve, longum and Lactobacillus acidophilus.
