What is Maca?
Maca is a root vegetable originating from the Andes Mountains in Peru and is the only edible plant that grows at such high altitudes (3000-4500 metres). Maca is also known as the 'Ginseng of the Andes'. It was used by the Incas and was especially considered a delicacy due to its sweet flavour. Maca is available in 3 colours. What is Yellow Maca?
Yellow Maca is a variety of the Lepidium meyenii plant, better known as Maca. This plant originally grows in the Andes Mountains of Peru, at altitudes above 4000 metres. Yellow Maca is the most common type and is known for its mild, slightly nutty flavour. Besides yellow Maca, there is also red and black Maca.
The herbs and roots of maca have been used for centuries in China and Ayurveda. Nowadays, they are also becoming increasingly popular in the Western world.
Yellow Maca supports menopausal symptoms* and energy levels* and is beneficial for a good mental balance.*

The product 'Mattisson Healthstyle: Active Maca 750 mg' is safe for teenagers like you to use. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules per day, unless advised otherwise.
Can this product also be used by men, or is it specifically for women?
