Mattisson Cocoa Powder naturally contains minerals (magnesium, iron, chromium, manganese, zinc, and copper), vitamin C, omega-6 fatty acids, and fibre.
Cocoa is known as mood food due to its naturally occurring mood-enhancing ingredients.
Even the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) spoke positively about cocoa and dark chocolate on 17 July 2012:
The Panel concludes that a cause and effect relationship has been established between the consumption of cocoa flavanols and maintenance of normal endothelium-dependent vasodilation.
The Panel considers that the following wording reflects the scientific evidence: “Cocoa flavanols help maintain endothelium-dependent vasodilation, which contributes to normal blood flow”.

deliciously rich in flavour
Fantastic product
I drink it every day. It tastes delicious. There are also no strange metallic particles in it that I find in other brands of cocoa powder.
Bitter as it should be, but provides a good energy boost. In the morning with breakfast in your porridge and you're set until the afternoon.
I find the taste less pleasant than I hoped. It is quite bitter. However, it is nice to be able to eat chocolate without feeling guilty. Great for experimenting with in oatmeal or cookies.
Mattisson Cocoa Powder naturally contains 7 grams of bioflavonoids and only 0.9 grams of sugar per 100 grams.
Mattisson Cocoa Powder is made from unroasted organic cocoa beans.
Name change of this product
Certain experts claim that all cocoa beans must have been heated above 42 degrees to kill moulds and bacteria. Additionally, to make cocoa mass (=peeled, dried, and ground cocoa beans) into cocoa powder and cocoa butter, a temperature higher than 42 degrees Celsius is needed. Therefore, Mattisson has chosen not to call its cocoa powder Raw anymore because we cannot guarantee that it has not been heated above 42 degrees.
