This MCT oil is made from 100% Organic Coconut Oil and consists of 48% Caprylic Acid/ C8 and 35% Capric Acid/C10. MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglyceride and is a type of fatty acid. Medium-Chain means that the fatty acids have a medium-length chain. MCT oil provides quick energy and is not stored as fat. Therefore, it is also used by athletes as a supplement.
