Composition per daily dose of 1 capsule
320mg fruiting body powder (mushroom)
80mg fruiting body extract (mushroom)

Usage

Hello, is there a difference between this version and the updated product from Mattisson? I notice the new packaging, but there is also much more emphasis on the fruiting body. So, has it been updated, or is the formula still the same?

I am curious about the ratio of mycelial biomass to Hericium erinaceus, is there more information available?
On 31 march 2021 by Customer serviceThe Latin name for Lion's Mane is Hericium erinaceus, so the product is entirely Hericium erinaceus. The majority consists of the spores of this mushroom. In English, the spores of mushrooms are referred to as mycelial. Therefore, the product is both entirely Hericium erinaceus and primarily mycelial. Biomass is used to indicate that all parts of the mushroom are utilised, which means that 'seeds' of the mushrooms might also be included. The term 'full spectrum mycelial biomass' signifies that the complete parts of the 'mushroom' (including both the mushroom and spores) are used.
The exact composition may vary slightly per batch, but is approximately per 2 capsules:
Bio mycelial (spores) powder 500mg
Bio fruiting body (fruit/mushroom) 300mg
Bio Full spectrum mycelial biomass extract 200mg (thus an extract of both spores and mushroom).

This rice contains the various components secreted by the mycelium. Mycelium is the root system of the mushroom, so full-spectrum mycelial biomass means that everything is used, not just the roots.
