Very pleased with this organic Maca powder. Initially, I had to get used to the taste. But now that I'm accustomed to it, I find it delightful in my yoghurt breakfast with fruit. A wonderful addition!!
I am still figuring out how to incorporate this product into my daily life. I am currently using it with homemade yoghurt. The taste is okay. I haven't found the scoop in the jar, so I'm using a tablespoon for now. I am still building up my intake. So far, I haven't noticed any difference. I've been using it for about 2 weeks.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, it's a very fine product that clearly gives me more energy. I use it in smoothies, yoghurt, and sometimes even just on bread. I highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering it more often, plus the delivery was super fast!
I have been using this for a few days now in the mornings, either in my smoothie or as a healthy shot (mixed with wheatgrass powder dissolved in water), and I have noticed that I feel better and have more energy. It also tastes quite nice. It makes the smoothie a bit "smoother and sweeter" in flavour.
Since I started using Maca, I have clearly experienced less discomfort from menopausal symptoms such as night sweats. Additionally, I find it delightful mixed into yoghurt or in a smoothie.

1-3 times daily, use 1-2 scoops (3 g) of Absolute Maca Powder in muesli, yoghurt and/or fruit drinks.

On 29 december 2014 by Customer serviceThis does not mean that a scoop of Active Maca does not contain (at least) as much beta-sitosterol. It is simply not known what the percentage is, as this can vary per harvest and per packaging.
Beta-sitosterol is not the primary component of maca. In fact, there is no known main component of maca. Maca should be viewed more as a food that provides a wide spectrum of nutrients. From this perspective, loose powder is therefore just as good as a concentrated extract.
The maca extract from Bonusan provides a standardised product, but is relatively much more expensive and not necessarily better. So if you are pleased with the Active Maca, you can continue to use it.
