Strange bitter taste. Not like what I've experienced with other brands before. (Funnily enough, I left a review not long ago, but my whole account vanished unexpectedly, along with my review. Apologies, but people need to be aware that this product does not live up to expectations. I've tried two different boxes to no success).

Terribly disappointed - the taste is bitter and not at all like what hemp seeds usually taste like. A bit of context: the first hemp seeds I tried back in Canada had a nutty, earthy flavour (the taste that is generally associated with hemp seeds). I was searching for the equivalent here in the Netherlands, and hoped that this Mattisson product was it, but it isn't. P.S. I tried a different brand here in the Netherlands (reasonably priced), and the taste is great (nutty, earthy), unlike this product.

I ordered hemp seeds for the first time and I am very pleased with them. They taste good. I use them for breakfast in yoghurt (together with chia seeds, oats and fruit) and in the evening I often sprinkle them over my warm meal. They taste good, a bit nutty. I will definitely keep this product!
