Mineral-rich salt!
Celtic sea salt hails from France, specifically harvested in the Guérande region of Brittany.
It boasts a relatively low sodium chloride content and a relatively high percentage of minerals and trace elements, derived from both the clay soil and the sea.
Once harvested, the salt is left to dry naturally for about six months until it retains approximately 10% moisture. It is then directly packed without refining, preserving valuable minerals such as magnesium within the salt.
The so-called Fleur de Sel has a finer texture and is more suitable as a substitute for table salt.

Delightful salt with a great taste
Large quantity, good value for money
Decent salt...unfortunately, it doesn't work in my salt mill.
It feels good to use natural salt. I use it in food just like table salt.

Is it possible that this Celtic sea salt is not suitable for use in a salt mill? When I try to use my salt mill with this sea salt, unfortunately nothing happens... I never had this issue with sea salt from the supermarket. Is there a solution for this?
On 19 november 2024 by Customer serviceThis salt is not as thoroughly dried and stripped of minerals as coarse sea salt from the supermarket, making it somewhat stickier. Therefore, it is quite possible that a standard salt mill could become clogged.
You might consider ordering a refillable salt mill from Esspoo (or purchasing one at a health food store near you). This type is suitable for these kinds of salts.

Although this Celtic Sea Salt contains some minerals not found in regular table salt, its effect on blood pressure is virtually the same as that of refined salt.

Always use the Nasaline Salt Sachets or a similar purified product for a nasal douche (so no Celtic sea salt, Himalayan salt, etc.).
