- Step 1: gently exfoliate your body skin, paying extra attention to elbows, knees, and heels (insider tip: coffee grounds make a great zero-waste option).
- Step 2: apply the self-tanning milk evenly with smooth, circular motions (we recommend using a self-tanner mitt).
- Step 3: remember to wash your hands thoroughly after use.
- Step 4: wait a few minutes before getting dressed.
- Step 5: reapply the product after 6 hours for an even deeper shade.

Do you also need to rinse off the top layer in the shower after applying it each time after a while? With other types, you do. Otherwise, it turns an unsightly brown.
