Is this version of vitamin C buffered? Which buffered variant do you recommend?

This vitamin C is not buffered. The most absorbable buffered variant of vitamin C is Ester C, which is available from various brands including our own, though unfortunately it is currently out of stock. A good alternative is this one from Viridian:
