Lamberts Acidophilus Extra 4 is a potent probiotic. Each capsule contains 4 billion 'friendly' bacteria (at the time of manufacture), so taking 2 capsules a day is sufficient. The preparation is also milk-free.

Excipient:
Dextrose, starch, capsule (gelatin, colour: titanium dioxide), cellulose, sucrose and magnesium stearate.
The dextrose and sucrose together weigh less than 1/50 of a teaspoon (less than ½ calorie).
Not suitable for vegetarians.
Usage:
2 capsules per day, unless otherwise advised. Do not take with hot drinks. Heat kills the bacteria. If antibiotics are being used, take at least two hours after taking the antibiotic.
