Sweet almond oil is a delightful oil. Very good indeed. I am very satisfied.
I ordered this oil for my grandmother. She has very dry skin that flakes easily, etc. The oil from Jacob Hooy is very gentle, natural, and pleasantly scented. She is very happy with it. It’s great that Vitaminstore also sells litre bottles at a very good price! Delivery was quick, in short, very satisfied!

Can I use it to my newborn
On 12 february 2026 by Customer servicees, you can use Jacob Hooy Sweet Almond Oil on your newborn’s skin, as it is a mild, natural oil suitable for external use.
However:
- Use only a small amount.
- Do a patch test first (apply a little on a small area and wait 24 hours).
- Avoid use if there is a family history of nut allergies.
- Stop using it if any irritation occurs.
If your baby has very sensitive skin or eczema, it’s best to consult your pediatrician first.

Under the tab labeled "more", it is indicated whether the oil is organic or not. If it does not specify that it is organic, you can assume that the oil does not come from organic cultivation. The price also provides a good indication: the cheaper variants are non-organic.

Be sure to store the bottle properly (preferably in a cool, dark place), and consider pouring a week's worth of oil into a separate bottle so you don't have to open the stock bottle every day.
