Neem Supreme Shampoo

I have a lot of fine curly hair, and many shampoos make my hair greasy. I've tried a whole lot. This one cleanses well without stripping, which would make your hair greasy again quickly, and it's also good for your hair. Very pleased with it.

I noticed that there was no preservative listed on the ingredients list. I contacted Holisan, and they informed me that they had "chosen" to only mention the active substances that are an addition to the product. However, it is legally required to name all substances. If all producers only listed the substances that are an addition to the product, they could add as many chemical or synthetic substances as they like without the consumer being aware. They promised me they would adjust the packaging and stated that the preservative used is grapefruit extract. This extract sounds natural, but it can only be used as a preservative after being chemically processed and ultimately contains substances such as benzethonium chloride. This means that the claim of "100% herbal" as stated on the packaging is also not true. In conclusion, Holisan does not take the truth seriously, and I have lost my trust in Holisan products.

It's good that they are going to make adjustments. As for benzethonium chloride, this substance is not necessarily present in grapefruit seed extract. It is simply the case that this substance was found in most extracts when products were analysed in 2001, 2007, and 2008 (not all). However, this does not change the fact that the substance could also be present in this shampoo.
