Use these drops alongside breastfeeding. We administer them with a spoon, and both children took them easily. The bottle dispenses easily, was quickly dispatched, and well packaged.
Finally found water-based vitamin K drops. My baby tolerates these well, whereas with two other pharmacy brands, the baby would vomit afterwards. These drops aren't cheap but they're good for my baby.
Good brand, quickly delivered and easy to use
Very fast delivery
Quick delivery, neatly packaged, clear handling. The product itself was of great importance to us as it is water-based. Our daughter cannot absorb oil-based products (baby). A lovely bottle to use. The drops come quickly, but that is a matter of good positioning. We usually administer them via the feeding tube. In short: very satisfied!
At birth, babies have a low vitamin K level. They do not yet have an established gut flora that produces this vitamin themselves. They can do so after 12 weeks. For this reason, it is administered via an injection immediately after birth by the midwife or gynaecologist. This amount is sufficient up to and including the 7th day after birth. After this, it is necessary, and therefore the Health Council also advises, to give the child 150 µg daily from the 8th day up to and including 12 weeks. This ensures your baby does not unnecessarily risk developing (brain) haemorrhages.

Tip:
• The drops can be administered using a spoon or, if desired, mixed with (expressed) milk.

Good day, Can this be administered immediately at birth instead of the injection? The injections are peanut-based, and I am increasingly hearing that babies are developing allergies because of this. Kind regards, Meltem

When a midwife administers vitamin K, it is done for the entire first week, which amounts to 7 x 150 = 1050 mcg of vitamin K. With these drops, you can provide the recommended daily dose of 150 mcg per day (five drops per day).
