A red macerate that contains most of the fat-soluble components from the flowering herb. St John's Wort (or Johannis herb) is anti-inflammatory, promotes skin recovery, stimulates blood circulation, and warms. Together with calendula and tamanu, St John's Wort macerate is one of the best oils for sunburnt skin. It makes the skin sensitive to sunlight, so it should be used sparingly when sunbathing. It can also be used for supple muscles.
