Multi Vital Forte Active delivers vitamins and minerals in a natural, biologically well-absorbable form. The vitamin B-complex is supplemented with choline, PABA, and inositol. Vitamin E is accompanied by natural mixed tocopherols. Finally, vitamin C is accompanied by a bioflavonoid complex.
The vitamins C, B6, B12, and folic acid are in the active form. This form ensures good bioavailability, meaning these vitamins are well absorbed by the body. The organically bound minerals in this multi are also well absorbed.
The vitamin B6 content is kept relatively low due to potential accumulation. For the same reason, the active P5P form of B6 is used. Vitamin A is in the form of natural beta-carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A only as needed, making overdosing impossible.
The formula is completed with spirulina and chlorella.

Why are the amounts of B12 so incredibly high in the multivitamin? Much more than recommended.

These values are sometimes also referred to as RI: Reference Intake. A common misconception is that the RDA values pertain to safe dosages, but this is not the case. The safety of nutrients is determined by maximums, which are based on the "Upper Safe Levels" set by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). These maximums do not need to be listed on the labels of dietary supplements. However, manufacturers must take these into account. Therefore, you need not worry and can use the Multi Vital Forte Active tablets with confidence.
Is this suitable for my daughter who is nearly 4? She is currently using chewable tablets, so this would be quite exciting to try.

They are hard tablets approximately 2 cm long and are therefore primarily intended for adults and children aged around 12 years and older.
In terms of composition, the formula is not necessarily dangerous for a 4-year-old (although many of the dosages are higher than the usual dosages found in children's multivitamins), but for ease of use, it is better to continue giving young children chewable tablets or perhaps ready-to-use powder.
It states under 'usage' that two tablets should be taken per day. Is this correct? Should it not be one per day?
