The Bonusan Lactoferrin 300 mg is a product with a high dosage to quickly replenish the body's natural production. However, without specific recommendations from a health professional, we generally do not advise giving such high dosages to children under 10 years old. This is because it depends, among other things, on your child's build. It is always best to consult a health professional when considering supplements for children. They can provide more personalised advice based on your child's specific needs and circumstances.
1. From which milk is this lactoferrin made? Like Mattisson, is it from cow's milk? Or from another type of milk? 2. Can you use lactoferrin from cow's milk if you have a milk allergy, in the sense that milk (except A2 Jersey milk) doesn't make you sick but does make you tired?
On 16 january 2024 by Customer service1. The lactoferrin is derived from the milk of cows that are raised in a natural manner. It is pure milk from which lactoferrin is extracted. By natural manner, we mean they grow up in a meadow with an ecological diet, without genetically modified feed.
2. If you have a cow's milk allergy, you cannot tolerate lactoferrin. If you have lactose intolerance, it is wise to try lactoferrin cautiously to see how your body reacts. Bonusan's lactoferrin contains a very low lactose content (0.05%). In some countries, including Germany, this level is classified as lactose-free. The best lactoferrin is also very low in the milk protein lactose.
