I take these tablets so that my [...] absorb the nutrients better. According to my orthomolecular doctor, this was necessary. I take one during or after the meal (sometimes I forget, but that's not a problem). I feel good, definitely better, and I also notice that I am less [...].

Usage

I have been using Gastrozym for a few days now for our 5-month-old baby, as he cannot tolerate probiotics, which cause him more tummy pain. I was wondering what the benefits of using it were. He has always had difficulty with bowel movements (not too hard) along with a lot of tummy pain, nausea, acid reflux, gas, and sticky stomach mucus.

I have added some more information to the product description of GASTROZYM 0910. Probiotics work in the intestines (both small and large) while Gastrozym ensures that food is properly broken down in the stomach. Gastrozym contains enzymes that break down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. This may alleviate gas formation and other digestive and bowel issues. Digestive enzymes only work when taken with a meal. The effect does not persist, whereas probiotics continue to work even after one has stopped using them. Your child should ideally produce the enzymes from Gastrozym on their own (in the salivary glands, stomach, and gallbladder).
