Tasty chewable tablets, the children are happy when they receive one. The different animal shapes are also fun.
Really nice chewable tablets for extra calcium... have really helped my child, as they don't consume dairy...
My little boy, who is nearly 2, takes these calcium tablets very easily and finds them tasty. It's difficult to measure the effect, but he is developing well. He also takes a multivitamin, and I've understood that it's better to take them separately for better absorption. So, he has the multivitamin with breakfast and these at lunch. It's a shame there's nothing about this on the website. I miss a glass jar, otherwise very satisfied.

Magnesium (carbonate, citrate, oxide) 50 mg 13%

Sucrose, calcium, fructose, magnesium, natural flavours, anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, fatty acids), date concentrate, fig concentrate, spinach powder, broccoli powder.
Mineral preparation.
Give your child 1-2 chewable tablets daily, unless otherwise recommended by a doctor or expert.
A healthy lifestyle is important, as is a varied, balanced diet for which food supplements are no substitute. Keep out of reach of young children. Suitable for children aged 3 years and above who can chew well. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Store in a cool, dry place and keep sealed.

Dear Vitaminstore, my 5-year-old son doesn't like any dairy products. I'm currently giving him this vitamin, but I'm actually looking for a calcium tablet with a higher dosage. Which one would you recommend? My son is allergic to oysters, so Optimax is not an option.

You can also give him 4 tablets of the Animal Parade per day, 2 in the morning with breakfast and 2 in the evening with dinner. And if you also provide him with plenty of legumes, vegetables, and nuts, he will get enough calcium.
When supplementing with calcium, always ensure sufficient intake of vitamin D, vitamin K2 (and magnesium).
Below I read that the tablets are not suitable for children under 3 years old because they might not chew properly. My 2-year-old can chew perfectly well, so is it fine then? Are the ingredients suitable for a 2-year-old?

On 11 august 2020 by Customer serviceThe Calcium chewable tablets (with magnesium) should only be given from the age of 3 due to safety concerns. Children aged 2 may not be able to chew properly yet. As an alternative, you could opt for a powder such as this one from Viridian:

You can give approximately 1/4 to half of the adult dosage of this.
Can I combine the multi mixed fruit with the calcium (which also contains magnesium) and the D3? (All from Animal Parade) for a child of 2 years and 10 months?
