Why Waterdrop? 

Drinking two litres of water a day is as important as breathing. We need both to function well. Good hydration contributes to your energy levels and alertness. However, it is not so easy for everyone to reach those two litres every day. With Waterdrop, drinking water becomes a lot easier! 

How does Waterdrop work? 

Waterdrop is not only very healthy and tasty but also incredibly simple! Take the Waterdrop out of its packaging and put it in a large glass, a jug or a reusable water bottle filled with fresh, cold water. Then sit back until your Microdrink is completely dissolved. Stirring or shaking is unnecessary! Once it is ready, you can enjoy a fresh and fruity drink - anytime, anywhere. A Waterdrop is good for 400 to 600 ml of your favourite fruity drink! 

Are Waterdrops sustainable? 

Did you know that nearly 500 billion plastic bottles are produced worldwide every year? Almost half of them are used to transport bottled water, contributing to 8 million tonnes of CO2. Since your favourite drink is now packaged in just a small cube, you save as much as 97% in packaging material and 98% of the CO2 emissions compared to regular (soda or water) bottles.  

Now we hear you thinking, but why is each Waterdrop then individually wrapped in plastic? Isn't that unsustainable too? The fruit and plant extracts are sensitive to oxygen because there are no preservatives used. Just like a banana is protected by its peel, each Waterdrop is packaged in a thin layer of recyclable PET to thus guarantee freshness and flavour. When you hold a full drink in your hands, realise that as much as 97% of packaging is saved. Additionally, the tub in which the Waterdrop sits is not only wafer-thin but also highly recyclable. And last but not least, for every box of Waterdrop sold, 1 plastic bottle is collected from the environment. So that's a win-win!
