The ingredients are as follows: Temoe Lawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza) rhizome, Anise (Pimpinella anisum), Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Maltodextrin, Dried powder, Cellulose, Magnesium stearate.
The Curcuma Complex from Vitaminhealth does contain pepper extract (5 mg per capsule).

On 02 december 2008 by Customer serviceIn cases of a sensitive liver, the use of a tincture may be undesirable. In that case, the Curcuma tablet is a suitable alternative.
By the way, our vademecum does not list liquorice as one of the ingredients. The sweet taste is attributed to Pimpinella Anisum (anise) according to our vademecum.
