Finally, a pure toothpaste
Our 10-month-old son is not a fan of brushing his teeth. Now that we have switched to Weleda, it has become easier. The taste is mild with just a hint of mint. Also, because no fluoride has been added and it consists of natural ingredients, it is a must-have for us.
Weleda's Children's Toothpaste is specially developed for children and is tailored to the natural care of milk teeth and the harmonisation of the oral flora of young children. The toothpaste contains only natural ingredients that do not harm health if a little is swallowed. The various essential oils have a taste and scent that most children find pleasant.
Function:
The cleaning agent in Children's Toothpaste is silica. This mineral cleans thoroughly yet gently and does not damage the enamel of milk teeth. The Calendula extract keeps the oral mucosa healthy. The toothpaste does not contain fluoride, as this can be sufficiently obtained from food. If the use of fluoride is necessary in individual cases, it is best to consult with a dentist. Regular brushing with Children's Toothpaste naturally protects milk teeth.

The extracts from the flowering aerial parts of the Calendula have a yellow-green to brown-green colour. ding on the selected extraction agent, they may contain carotenoids, flavonoids, and saponins. Marigold extracts have soothing properties and contribute to skin regeneration.

Glycerin, Water (Aqua), Silica, Algin, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Esculin, Flavour (Aroma)*, Limonene*.
*derived from natural essential oils
Brush your teeth carefully in the morning and evening, for two to three minutes.
Storage
Store in a dry place and keep tightly closed.
Keep out of reach of children.

My daughter is 7 and in the midst of losing her baby teeth. Is this toothpaste still suitable for her? Or would you recommend another one?

Since your daughter is losing her baby teeth, this toothpaste can still be suitable. However, as her adult teeth begin to emerge, it might be beneficial to switch to a toothpaste that is more suitable for adult teeth.
Weleda also offers Calendula Toothpaste and Saline Toothpaste in their range. These are also gentle and contain natural ingredients, but are more focused on the care of adult teeth.
From what age can this toothpaste be used? Is it suitable for the very little ones too?

On 13 april 2015 by Customer service"A collective term for ingredients used as flavouring (aroma) in oral and dental care products. Weleda uses blends of natural essential oils; no synthetic fragrances are used."
I also noticed on Weleda's website that the composition had changed slightly. The current ingredient list is as follows: "Glycerine, Water/Spring Water, Silica, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Extract of Marigold Blossom (Calendula), Horse Chestnut, Xanthan, Aroma, Limonene."
Regarding the new ingredient in this list, Weleda states:
"Magnesium Aluminium Silicate is a clay that is well tolerated by the skin and is used as a stabiliser in emulsions, creams, toothpaste or gels."
The children's toothpaste is suitable for vegans.
