GLA is used for menstrual discomfort and menopausal symptoms. GLA strengthens the skin and mucous membranes (allergy). For all fatty acid preparations, it is recommended to take sufficient (extra) vitamin E to prevent oxidation of the fatty acids in the body.

- contains 150 mg GLA, an omega-6 fatty acid, from borage oil
- equivalent to 3-4 capsules of 500 mg evening primrose oil

Usage

As a food supplement for adults, take one to three softgels daily, preferably with a meal, unless otherwise advised. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

May I let my 13-year-old daughter use the capsules? She is experiencing mood swings due to hormonal fluctuations.

GLA is a nutrient that can also be used by children (usually in combination with fish oil). Another option is the Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg (300 mg GLA).
