Powerful GLA (gamma-linolenic acid)
Solgar's One-a-day GLA softgels contain 150 mg of the omega-6 fatty acid GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) from borage oil. This is equivalent to 3-4 capsules of 500 mg evening primrose oil.

GLA is used for menstrual discomfort and menopausal symptoms. GLA strengthens the skin and mucous membranes (allergy). For all fatty acid preparations, it is recommended to take sufficient (extra) vitamin E to prevent oxidation of the fatty acids in the body.
