I hope it can restore my copper deficiency. I will see that in the blood analysis in a few months. Solgar is a good brand and I am glad you have it.

Is it safe to take this every few days during pregnancy?
On 28 october 2022 by Customer serviceWhen you're pregnant, you need more copper. Pregnant women require additional copper, about 1.0 mg per day. This is because copper is stored in the placenta and the baby during pregnancy. Women who are breastfeeding also need more copper, 1.3 mg per day, to compensate for the amount of copper they pass on to their baby through breast milk.
A multivitamin for pregnant women, such as the Prenatal Multi from Vitaminstore, already contains sufficient copper. If you wish to take additional copper alongside a pregnancy multivitamin, be sure to inform your midwife.
Until when are the tablets valid? What is the expiry date of a jar?

Can you take too much copper? My copper levels are low, but I already take a multivitamin; can you get too much?
On 23 february 2020 by Customer serviceAccording to the Health Council, the maximum safe dose for adults is 5 milligrams of copper per day, and this is taken with a wide margin. The Chelated Copper contains 2.5 milligrams per tablet. Adults require at least 0.9 mg of copper per day.
Is it possible to halve the tablets? I am looking for 1.0mg chelated copper, but unfortunately, I cannot find it.
On 14 april 2019 by Customer serviceYes, that is not a problem. However, halved tablets can have sharp edges that may make swallowing more difficult. But in terms of efficacy, it is perfectly fine.
You could also consider taking a whole tablet every other day, so that the average comes to 1.25 mg per day. Minerals are not excreted immediately by the body (as is the case with water-soluble vitamins), so it is fine to take a tablet every two days. Your body will benefit from it on both days.
