The leaves of the hawthorn are heart-shaped, which hints at its uses. The flower tops and berries of the hawthorn are used in naturopathy for their relaxing effects. Hawthorn owes its positive properties to the presence of bioflavonoids, among other things.

Since 1916, Salus-Haus, located in Bruckmühl in the Bavarian Alpine region, has been one of the largest processors of herbs and plants in Europe. In the Salus herb garden, more than 200 different species from all over the world are grown.

Organic hawthorn, leaves and flowers

Use
Pour 200 ml of boiled water over the bag and let it steep for 5 – 10 minutes. 
Then remove the bag.

Store in a dry, cool (15 - 25 °C), and dark place.
