Royal Green Astaxanthin; the super micro algae
Astaxanthin is derived from the green algae Haematococcus pluvialis. Royal Green's Astaxanthin is cultivated in a clean environment in Hawaii and is thus 100% naturally sourced. The algae is completely free from chemical additives and is extracted post-harvest using a pure supercritical Co2 method. The result is a super broad, pure and highly concentrated product.
Astaxanthin belongs to the carotenoid family (which includes beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin and xanthophylls).

Take 1 capsule per day, preferably during or shortly after a meal.

Everywhere I read, it says you should only take it for 12 weeks at a time. I use Royal Green (red) 4mg per day. How long should I wait before I can start another "course"?

We recommend taking a break of 1 to 2 weeks after a 12-week usage period. This allows your body to function without supplements and helps monitor any changes or side effects. It is always advisable to consult your doctor or a healthcare professional before starting long-term use of supplements, especially if you are taking other medications or have existing health issues.
Can you take Astaxanthin in combination with Euthyrox for an underactive thyroid? Thank you in advance.

Hello, I have read on several websites that concurrent use with naproxen is discouraged. Why is this? What are the possible side effects of concurrent use? And does it make a difference if this supplement is taken around, for example, 12:00 noon and the naproxen at, say, 4:00 p.m. or later? Kind regards, Kaya

Supplements and medications can interact with each other, which may alter the effect of the medication. It's best to contact your doctor or pharmacist. They can provide you with the correct information about taking medication and supplements.
