This is the best liver supplement I know of for this price. All the good ingredients for the liver are included, with no unnecessary extras. So, no superfluous vitamins added that you already get with multivitamins. A very good and honest product :-)

On 11 january 2013 by Customer serviceCod liver oil is primarily used as a natural source of vitamin D (and vitamin A). Combining cod liver oil with Vitamin D 25 mcg is somewhat redundant. Generally, Vitamin D 25 mcg is sufficient.
The VM-2000 already contains folic acid, so this is also somewhat redundant unless a higher dose of this vitamin is desired. The VM-2000 provides 400 mcg of folic acid per daily dosage of 2 tablets. It is not a problem to take an additional 400 mcg alongside this.
The VM-2000 also contains 10 mcg of vitamin D and 5 mg of beta-carotene (which can be converted into vitamin A) per 2 tablets. For this reason, the use of cod liver oil is essentially unnecessary. However, it does no harm: the total dosage of all nutrients remains well within safe limits.
