A tasty alternative to chocolate. It does take some getting used to the flavour, but after a few tastings, it’s quite pleasant. I grind the beans for use in the blender.

Usage

Break the cacao beans before use. By squeezing them or using the tip of a small knife to loosen the shell, which is not suitable for consumption, while the inside, the so-called cacao nibs, is.

These can be used in shakes, smoothies, and for making chocolates, cakes, etc.

Store in a cool, dry, and sealed place.

How many cocoa beans are equivalent to a healthy portion of raw chocolate per day (I ordered from Mattisson)?

The average cocoa bean weighs approximately 500 mg. This means you could consume around 5 cocoa beans per day to reach 2.5 grams. The cocoa beans in the Bio Cacao Beans Raw may weigh slightly more or less than 500 mg. You might want to weigh them using a kitchen scale.
