Delicious as a topping 🤎 or in a smoothie
Every morning, I add some cacao nibs to my yoghurt breakfast. The taste is delightful, reminiscent of very dark chocolate. Plus, it's healthy too.
I have enjoyed a lot of eating pleasure from this product. Something tasty yet healthy. Great for mixing into yoghurt.
My first experience with raw chocolate. Indeed quite bitter, but I read somewhere that you get used to it. By adding it to a smoothie with banana (mashed tablespoon), I found it quite nice as a crunchy addition, and then I didn't taste the bitterness. The quantity is also nice to try, in a handy sturdy resealable package.
The quality, as far as I can judge, is quite alright. It also smells nice and the pieces are a good size to eat as they are, or to mix into yoghurt or similar. However, the taste is just not for me... The first bite does remind me of the taste of pure cocoa, which is quite pleasant. The aftertaste, however, is very bitter and it tends to dominate. Perhaps it's a matter of getting used to it, but at least I’m glad that Vitaminstore had this 150-gram package for me to try.
These raw cacao beans (ground into small pieces) originate from Peru.
