The product is good, however the taste is less appealing
temporarily used on the advice of a nutrition coach, tastes excellent in soy or regular yoghurt.
Bee pollen are considered superfoods and contain many healthy substances. I don't find it tasty, but by stirring a small amount into my yoghurt (with nuts, bran, and blueberries) daily, I don't taste it and still get the good nutrients. I've been using it for years now.
I tried this bee pollen partly due to the review stating it gives a 'sweetness' to yoghurt. Well, I didn’t notice any sweetness at all. I must admit that after two bites, I had to make another bowl of yoghurt with hemp seeds (which I do enjoy) and blueberries, as I simply couldn't eat it. It has a strange bitter taste that I can't quite explain or compare to anything else. Unfortunately, it seems to be very healthy. It does blend well into a smoothie (you can't really taste it), but do not expect any sweet 'honey' flavour from the yoghurt. Average (3 stars) because tastes do differ :).
Delicious in yoghurt or porridge
Because Mattisson Raw Bee Pollen is not processed at temperatures above 42 degrees, the original function of the active substances is not lost.

However, they are raw, meaning they are not processed at temperatures above 42 degrees, preserving the original function of the active substances. Regarding sugar, these bee pollen naturally contain sugars, but no extra sugars are added. They are also rich in B vitamins and antioxidants, which help protect the body against free radicals.

On 14 january 2016 by Customer serviceIt may also help with hay fever: by allowing the body to acclimatise to the proteins in pollen through the mouth and stomach, sensitivity to inhaling these pollens is reduced. To benefit from this effect, it is recommended to consume at least a teaspoon of bee pollen daily from January to July. While it may not completely eliminate hay fever, it can help reduce its severity. Given the high nutritional value of the pollen, it is certainly worth a try.
