* The relative levels of the individual sterols are subject to natural variation

Plant Sterols, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, Anti-caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate) Crosslinked Cellulose Gum, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerine).
Take 1 tablet per day with a meal, unless otherwise advised. Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
This product is not intended for individuals who do not need to control their blood cholesterol level. Avoid consuming more than 3 grams of added plant sterols/stanols per day. If you are using cholesterol-lowering medication, use the product only under the supervision of a doctor.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Store in a dry place at room temperature.

Can this also be taken with blood pressure-lowering tablets and blood thinners? Also with the use of Pro Active butter? Thanks in advance.
On 20 october 2023 by Customer serviceAs far as is known, Plant Sterols 800 mg can be used together with blood pressure-lowering tablets and blood thinners (and Pro Active butter). However, always inform your healthcare provider, doctor, or pharmacist when using supplements alongside your medication.
The dosage is 1 tablet per day of 800mg. For Becel's plant sterols (With ester), the recommended dosage is 2 capsules per day, which amounts to 1600mg. Is the difference in quantity due to the quality of the plant sterols? Or would you recommend taking 2 tablets of your product to reach 1600 mg? However, the instructions state 1 tablet per day. I'm a bit lost... Kind regards, Simone Dost

This means that after isolation from a natural source, they no longer retain their original form. This affects their efficacy. It is generally said that a dosage of 1500 mg of plant sterols results in a certain effect. However, Lamberts' plant sterols are not esterified and retain their natural form after isolation, which allows for a positive effect even at lower dosages. This is why Lamberts recommends a daily dosage of 800 mg of plant sterols.
Of course, there is nothing against adjusting the dosage to 2 x 800 mg per day if needed.
