The term lecithin is the common or commercial name for a natural mixture of substances, which are chemically identified as phosphatides or phospholipids. The main components of the natural mixture are phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol and associated phosphorus-containing lipids. In certain respects, the primary component of lecithin, as is now widely recognised, is phosphatidylcholine. Digestion reduces it to choline, which is then converted back into phosphatidylcholine in the body. Composition per daily dosage of 1 capsule
