Tyrosine is considered a non-essential amino acid because the body can produce it from phenylalanine. It is a precursor to neurotransmitters - dopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline. It also acts as a precursor to certain hormones, including thyroxine, and the important pigment melanin for humans.

Ingredients:
L-Tyrosine, Capsule (Gelatin), Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, and Cellulose.

Usage:
1 to 4 capsules per day, unless otherwise advised.

Amino acids are best taken with fruit juice or water rather than milk. An amino acid is best taken half an hour before a meal or at bedtime.

Warnings for use:
Do not use in combination with MAO inhibitors (a type of antidepressant). This product is not recommended for children, during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding.
