Chamomile Water Spray Organic (Hydrosol)La Drome

The flowers distilled for the hydrosols of La Drôme are sourced from organic farming or wild harvesting in pristine natural areas. The blossom waters or hydrosols of La Drôme are obtained through a slow, prolonged steam distillation using spring water from fresh, mostly organic, flowers and plants. The flowers or leaves are placed in a distillation flask for this purpose. The rising steam causes the cells, rich in plant extracts, to burst open. The steam, laden with essential oils, then condenses in a Florentine flask under cooling with cold running water. The water becomes blossom water as it is enriched with the water-soluble components of the essential oil and fragrant elements. The blossom water and the essential oil separate in the separating vessel due to a difference in density. The blossom water produced in this artisanal manner is rich in aromatic components.
