I bought this to restore my hair. It was dry and coarse. I've been using it for 2 weeks now, twice a week after showering. I feel like my hair is really starting to recover and feels healthier again. Very happy with it
The scent of the product is unfortunately so strong that I dare not use it. I tried it once, and afterwards the smell lingered in my hair even after three washes! It is also very thick, thicker than a regular hair conditioner. I am also not entirely clear on how to use it: as a conditioner (so rinse it out) or as a lotion (and thus not rinse it out?): please specify this in the description!

Hi, In the reviews I see someone who isn’t sure whether this product should be rinsed out. Your reply says it can be rinsed out if desired. However, on Holisan’s website I see “do not rinse out”. I’m now wondering what the actual intention is... Kind regards, Annelies
On 25 february 2026 by Customer serviceThe Neem Hair Vitaliser is a lotion, not a traditional conditioner. It’s Aloe Vera-based and is intended to be massaged into damp hair and then left in. This ensures the product works optimally. Some people also like to rinse it out after leaving it in overnight, and that’s certainly possible. Holisan only states the best way to use it on their website, and that is indeed not to rinse it out.
