The yam (or Yam root) is the root of a plant that grows in North America and Mexico. It contains the substance "Diosgenin." "Diosgenin" is similar to the structure of the hormone progesterone and is the raw material the body needs for the production of natural DHEA. Pure yam contains only about 2% Diosgenin, a precursor of female progesterone. Extracts from this yam are stronger, as they contain up to 16% Diosgenin.

500 mg Radix Dioscorea villosa extract 3.5% (yam root)
100 mg hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule)

Instructions for use
Take one to two capsules twice a day with sufficient liquid, preferably half an hour before meals.
