The yam (or Yam root) is the root of a plant that grows in North America and Mexico. It contains the substance "Diosgenin." "Diosgenin" is similar to the structure of the hormone progesterone and is the raw material the body needs for the production of natural DHEA. Pure yam contains only about 2% Diosgenin, a precursor of female progesterone. Extracts from this yam are stronger, as they contain up to 16% Diosgenin.

Instructions for use
