Herbal Preparation
The horse chestnut is a broad tree and can grow to a height of 20 to 25 metres. The flowers have a red spot in the centre and a yellow nectar mark at the base of the petals. The horse chestnut has opposite hand-shaped compound leaves. The base of the central petiole is broadened at the bottom and has a typical horseshoe-shaped leaf mark with more than three leaf traces. The tree blooms in May. The horse chestnut is also used as a medicinal remedy. The most useful active ingredients are aescin, tannins, and flavonoglycosides.

Usage:
Take one capsule twice daily with plenty of water, preferably half an hour before meals.
