How vitamin C works. But especially Vitamin Store that handled everything. Correctly and properly.
disappointed, as they have recently reduced the vegetable/fruit complex added from 113 mg per tablet to 56 mg per tablet. These are the bioflavonoids that make vitamin C absorbable. So how well are you now absorbing vitamin C per tablet? Vitamin C without bioflavonoids is not absorbed, so the reduction of these does not benefit the product.
Customer serviceI do not wish to condone the change in composition. This is merely in response to the often-heard claim that bioflavonoids would enhance the absorption of vitamin C, for which there is no scientific evidence. Bioflavonoids should be seen as complementary to vitamin C (rutin, quercetin, and hesperidin, for example, have very beneficial properties), not as essential for its absorption.
I found this product interesting because it uses vitamin C from various types of vegetables and fruits. However, it takes an eternity for the product to be ordered, about six weeks, so I have yet to receive the first jar. I am curious!

Full composition: Vitamin C; microcrystalline cellulose (filler), cottonseed oil, stearic acid, magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (coating), nutrient complexes, silicon dioxide (stabiliser), polysorbate (wetting agent), beeswax (glazing agent).
This product contains no yeast, gluten, lactose, soy or synthetic colour or flavourings. No sugar or starch has been added to this product. Suitable for vegetarians.
Vitamin C is a convenient one-a-day formula and available in jars of 90 tablets.
A healthy lifestyle is important, as is a varied, balanced diet for which supplements are no substitute. Keep out of reach of young children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry and sealed environment.

Are the capsules available for this? It's difficult to see the difference with the femplex+ and capsules were easier to take.
On 14 february 2023 by Customer serviceUnfortunately, the Vitamin C1000 is not available in capsule form from Essential Organics with us. However, it is available from other brands, such as Now. To make taking it even easier, you might consider using Vitamin C powder.
Can you open the capsule and dissolve the contents in water? Does this affect absorption in the body? This is because the capsule is quite large.
