Everyone who eats little to no bread (and not heaps of seaweed) should have this at home as a standard to supplement iodine. The liquid form is very easy to use and I mix it into porridge, yoghurt, or pancake batter in the morning.

How many doses are there in one bottle?
On 30 january 2024 by Customer serviceA bottle of Biotics Iodine Liquid contains approximately 600 drops. The recommended dosage is 1 drop per day, so with one bottle you can go for about 600 days, if you follow the recommended dosage.
The description of Biotics Iodine liquid states that you may take 1 drop per day. However, I was wondering if 2 drops would also be permissible, as that would lead to the RDA of 150 mcg. Or are there other risks associated with this?

The total daily intake of iodine from food and dietary supplements has an upper limit of 1100 mcg for those aged 18 and over. Dear, I read that I can also apply the iodine drops to the skin. How does absorption work in that case? Is it less effective or just as good as oral intake? And is the risk of side effects also reduced? Best regards, Jose

The risk of side effects is therefore reduced, although if you have sensitive skin, you may experience irritation and allergic reactions.
When you take iodine orally, it is absorbed more effectively into your bloodstream. It's important to follow the recommended dosage to avoid consuming too much iodine, thereby reducing the risk of side effects. Always follow the advice of your doctor or therapist.
