Chemically, Ho Leaf shares many similarities with Rosewood. The scent is almost identical to that of Rosewood as well. The Ho tree is a beautiful tree with evergreen, glossy leaves and is a relative of the Cinnamon and Camphor trees, belonging to the same family as Rosewood, the Laurels. The leaves can be harvested twice a year without causing damage to the tree. Ho Leaf oil is distilled through steam distillation of the leaves of the Ho tree (Ho Sho, Chinese Camphor tree). The oil is colourless to light yellow and has a slightly woody scent with a floral note resembling roses.

Ho Leaf has skin-repairing and hydrating properties. Additionally, it acts as an antiseptic and stimulates the immune system, providing relief particularly for the throat and head. It is very soothing, calming during stress, uplifting, stabilising in times of restlessness or anxiety, brings balance, and can induce sleep.
Ho Leaf can be used for: pimples, impure skin, skin damage, and sensitive, dry, and mature skin. Stress, anxiety, fatigue.
