The Cedar is an evergreen majestic tree with a pyramid-shaped crown, belonging to the family of conifers, Pinaceae. Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of wood chips from the Atlas Cedar, which grows in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It is an oil with a woody, warm-sweet scent.

Cedarwood has antiseptic, purifying, relieving, and expectorant properties. It increases resistance against unfavourable fungi and bacteria. It also calms and deepens breathing.
Cedarwood oil can be used for: anxiety, acne, respiratory issues, depression, oily skin, dandruff, hair loss, exhaustion, tension, stress, and nervousness.
The Cedar is never attacked by insects.
It is a strongly grounding oil with a soothing, calming, and purifying effect during transitional situations.
