Therefore, like all other coaches, she knows a great deal about health and is eager to assist you! These are the questions she received over the past month.
Last year, as a keen sportsman aged 33, I had a severe bout of the flu that prevented me from exercising for weeks. This made me feel doubly miserable. I want to enter the autumn in good health; do you have a supplement that can support me? I already take vitamin D, magnesium, and fish oil daily. (Pierre, Ursem)
Rest is essential for recovery from illness, but it can indeed be challenging. Additionally, you might consider taking Lactoferrin, such as that from Bonusan. This is a naturally occurring protein that we receive in abundance from breast milk at birth but can only produce in small amounts thereafter. 'Lacto' refers to milk and 'ferrin' to iron. Iron positively influences the immune system and contributes to normal energy metabolism. Good luck!
I am a 46-year-old woman and, due to menopause, have started taking the pill again on my gynaecologist's advice. This certainly helps reduce symptoms, but my joints remain painful and stiff. I don't want to take painkillers constantly; is there perhaps an alternative? (Meyra, Alkmaar)
It's great that you're experiencing fewer symptoms! When using the pill, it's important to ensure adequate vitamin intake, as the pill can cause deficiencies such as folic acid, B6, and magnesium. For your joints, you might consider Boswellia, a product widely used in Indian Ayurveda that supports flexible joints.
SLEEP TIP
Sleep Complex contains many traditionally used herbs, including hops and valerian. These herbs have a beneficial effect on sleep function and help promote sleep readiness.
