5 Tips to Drink More Water
We probably don't need to tell you how important it is to drink enough water. Still, it can be quite a challenge to drink 1.5 to 2 litres daily. In this blog, we share 5 tips to help you drink more water.
Need a refresher? Read here why drinking water is so important.
1. Drink immediately upon waking
Make drinking water part of your morning routine. By drinking water first thing, you set the tone for the rest of the day, wake up your brain, and help your body flush out toxins. In the morning, we do many things on autopilot, such as showering, brushing our teeth, and getting dressed. Adding a new habit can take some time, about 66 days. To make it as easy as possible for yourself, you could, for instance, place a glass of water on your bedside table or stick a note on the bathroom mirror.
2. Always have water on hand
3. Add flavour to your water
Water on its own doesn't have a distinctive taste and can become boring. Fortunately, there are now plenty of ways to add flavour to your water without added sugars. Waterdrop Microdrink enriches your water with natural fruit and plant extracts, 100% sugar-free. Discover the different flavours of Waterdrop Microdrink here.
4. Opt for tea more often
Do you enjoy coffee? Understandable! However, coffee, despite being made with water, can actually have a dehydrating effect. See if you can swap one or more coffee breaks for tea time. Here are our 3 favourites:
