It gives me wonderfully soft skin and fine lines disappear. I have sensitive skin, but I've been using the serum for 3 years and my skin reacts very well to it.

The serum can be seen as an intensive addition to nourishing and protecting the skin, on top of your normal skincare routine. It can be applied before day and/or night cream and nourishes the skin with a higher concentration of active ingredients. It is suitable for all skin types, but especially for the more dehydrated and sensitive skin. From the age of 30, skin quality slowly begins to decline (including due to the decrease in collagen) and the skin becomes more sensitive to phototoxic reactions. Phototoxic reactions occur due to the influence of sunlight. Supplementing the day and/or night cream with the serum is therefore highly recommended.
HerbaProtect® NOX
This product contains the patented HerbaProtect® NOX. HerbaProtect® NOX was developed in response to new discoveries about the influence of sunlight on the skin. We already knew that the best ways to protect your skin from sun damage are to apply a protective factor and avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Naturally, this can already limit some of the negative effects of the sun on your skin. However, it has recently become clear that the stress the skin experiences from UV radiation lasts longer than previously thought. The adverse effect can last many hours longer and even deep into the night. Surprisingly, half of the damage caused by UV radiation only occurs long after the skin has been exposed to the sun. Sunlight stimulates the production of extra free radicals that overexcite the skin's own melanin. The formation of extra radicals due to sun exposure will generally lead to higher oxidative stress in the skin, causing premature ageing and unwanted skin changes. Due to this new finding, that the skin incurs a large part of the damage long after sun exposure, there is a need for innovative skincare and protective products that are effective over a longer period to prevent delayed skin damage.

The advice from the Nutrition Centre is to be in the sun with at least your head and hands uncovered for a quarter to half an hour between 12 and 3 pm to facilitate the production of vitamin D in the skin and then protect the skin from the sun. The serum and all other products in the Vitamin C beauty line contain vitamin C in its natural form from the Kakadu plum. The serum contains 1% and the booster 1.5% vitamin C, and the other active ingredients have a strong synergistic effect with vitamin C.
Can I apply this serum to the delicate skin around the eyes?

So, apply retinol in the evening before bed, and you can use the serum the following morning. If you're just starting with retinol, we recommend allowing your skin to adjust first and beginning with the serum after a week. When you first start with retinol, your skin may be more reactive than usual.
