The taste is unpleasant. It doesn't resemble cake at all. Instead, it tastes akin to dry whole wheat bread with a subtle chocolate hint. It's excessively crumbly. Not worth purchasing.
You really wouldn't think this is a vegan cake - the flavour is incredibly rich and chocolatey - I'm absolutely smitten!!! If you pop it in the fridge for a while, it becomes even more delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this!
