When the unfermented leaves of green tea are roasted, the product is called hojicha. It has a mildly stimulating effect and an aroma comparable to English tea. During the summer, one can add a slice of lemon or orange for a refreshing effect.
Ingredients
roasted green tea leaves*

Usage
Place tea leaves in a tea strainer in a teapot and pour over with water at approximately 75°C. Allow to steep for a few minutes.
Store in a dry and sealed place.
