Humans cannot produce carotenoids themselves. They must come from carrot, sweet potato, papaya, watermelon, mango, spinach, kale, or bell pepper. Carotenoid Complex is a supplement to your diet of alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
Science has only recently started giving alpha-carotene the attention it deserves. Alpha-carotene has slightly different properties than beta-carotene. Additionally, it is - like beta-carotene - a source of provitamin A.
Provitamin A is converted into vitamin A in the intestines and liver as needed. Therefore, there is no risk of overdosing, even if your client is pregnant. Vitamin A supports the immune system and is good for vision.
The formula also contains spirulina and chlorella. Chlorella is a freshwater algae that provides many vitamins, minerals, carotenoids, and chlorophyll.
Note: the body needs fat to properly absorb carotenoids. Therefore, a carotenoid complex should be taken with a fat-containing meal. Always ask if your client eats low-fat or fat-free. Such a diet hinders the absorption of substances from Carotenoid Complex.

Ingredients
Carotenoid complex, capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), Chlorella pyrenoidosa (naturally contains SULPHITE), rice extract mix.
Unless otherwise recommended, take one capsule twice daily during or shortly after a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you have difficulty swallowing, the capsule may be opened.
